This is a part time post (18.75 hours per week) based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, supporting four hospital charities - Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, Heartlands Hospital Charity, Good Hope Hospital Charity and Solihull Hospital Charity – which all work together with the administration shared between Heartlands Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham offices.
The Administration Assistant will work closely with other members of the hospital charity, in particular the Office Manager and Administration Officer, providing secretarial and administrative support to the fundraising teams across the four hospitals and the Charity overall.
Working as part of a team the post holder will have specific responsibility for accurate data inputting of donations, fundraising and Gift Aid claims and correspondence with donors and fundraisers.
The post holder will also support events put on by the charity and its supporters, and will have the opportunity to learn how to run and organise such events. This role can involve evening and weekend work at charity events and as such is subject to a 7 day working week contract.
The Charity can be flexible over when the hours are worked, and so the successful applicant will be able to say what days they wish to work.
