Getting stuck into the Sales & Business Management scheme, you’ll spend three years gaining experience that will be invaluable to the growth of your future career. You’ll build an understanding of how our branch network operates and the role the regional sales team plays in maximising the potential and performance of this distribution channel. You'll get exposure to various roles with a focus on sales, compliance and leadership allowing you to shape your career moving forwards.
You’ll be based in one of our regional sales teams, where you’ll embark on a structured development programme and become licensed to sell our products. Variety? There’ll be lots of that, you’ll enjoy different placements throughout your region and have the opportunity to develop relationships within the Branch network, Regional and Head Offices. And, of course, you will have our full support to help you shape a great career.
Regardless of where you start, you’ll get involved from day one on real work with real impact. We’ll get you licensed to sell all of NFU Mutual’s products, so that you can jump straight into learning on the job. There’s a lot of exposure to senior management in the Region and in the Branches, and you’ll be given responsibility and accountability from the get go. You’ll gain a wealth of hands on experience, backed up with solid technical knowledge to make you a success.
Alongside a 2:2 qualification, you’ll have an enthusiastic, positive and proactive nature – that’s really important. You’re someone who’s keen to learn and get involved, who grabs hold of opportunities rather than waiting for them to come.
