This exciting start-up is an innovative new marketet place for motor vehicle parts disrupting the way consumers and independent garages buy vehicle parts & accessories. By partnering with the major vehicle brands, our ecommerce site sells genuine, new original equipment direct from manufacturers. This means they can offer vehicle owners the full range of genuine compatible parts to purchase quickly, conveniently and with a manufacturer's warranty.

This is a graduate level 3-6 month internship with the view to move perm after successfully completing the internship.

Day to day responsibilities of the role:

The growth marketing intern is a critical founder member of the team and is responsible for driving sales, bringing high quality traffic to the site that converts. The right candidate will hopefully move into a full-time position, possibly specialising in a particular aspect of marketing, or continuing to manage across the whole mix. The full range of channels are potentially of value, though the initial focus is SEO, SEM, and social media (often forums as much as Facebook). These activities will likely be underpinned by a content strategy. Offline activities may also be a key route initially to engage with the motors’ enthusiasts.
The target customers are motors enthusiasts, and they initially seek to identify and focus on those individuals with high frequency/value characteristics.
The core objective is to drive sales through bringing qualified visitors to the site. A secondary consideration is to build a credible story of our activities using Social media.

Key attributes needed for the role:

  • The right individual has seed start-up behaviours in their DNA: they are very energetic, enthusiastic and resilient.
  • A self-starter who’s comfortable with ambiguity and takes accountability for the metrics. Creativity and innovative approaches are key, particularly in context of a very limited budget which must be used prudently.
  • This person must be able to demonstrate real, direct experience of delivering results personally. Cost-effective and smart use of 3rd parties is expected, but this is not a hands-off strategy role: this individual has to personally drive the results.
  • Culturally we favour data-led, iterative approaches with continuous testing & review of creative solutions.
