Vacancy Title: Associate Director, Acquisition Finance, Corporate Bank, AIB GB - London

The Role

In Corporate Banking GB we are seeking to fill a vacancy in the Acquisition Finance team in order to support the team's medium term growth strategy with a focus specifically on portfolio management. Acquisition Finance & Corporate Banking provide a fast paced and interesting environment in which to work, suited to individuals seeking to develop and broaden their skills.

Your next challenge

  • Managing the existing portfolio and developing new business / cross selling opportunities with those customers in order to strengthen the banking relationship.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of accounts, be involved in preparing annual reviews, completing waiver requests, monitoring financial performance and the credit assessment of follow-on lending proposals.
  • Ongoing monitoring of borrowers financial performance, ensuring timely receipt of management information, monitoring covenant compliance and maintaining relevant control systems.
  • Report upon key portfolio trends and interact with the credit / risk function.

What you'll need

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience and be able to demonstrate sound credit analysis and decision making.
  • Evidence strong customer relationship management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with customers, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High levels of commitment, energy and flexibility.
  • Experience of writing credit papers.
  • Experience of using relevant bank IT systems.
