One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for a hungry, driven and engaging individual on a 6 month fixed term contract basis who is passionate about helping the firm's teams navigate the pursuit cycle.

Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, but with travel to both sites as well as Aberdeen on occasion as required, the successful candidate will enjoy an exciting role providing the opportunity to work directly with and coach senior partners and to work with a diverse range of client teams to provide guidance, advice and support. The Pursuits & Proposals Manager must ensure that the firm is bidding for the right opportunities and that proposals are best in class. That will include ensuring proposals are persuasive and successfully differentiate the firm from the competition. To be successful in this role you will need to proactively seek new methodologies, tools and innovations to deliver proposals in different ways. A key part of the role will be advising teams, editing and reviewing proposal documents, working on presentation preparation and identifying creative ways to communicate messages to clients so that the firm can continually improve what it does and win more work. You will provide end-to-end support throughout a proposal life cycle including conducting post decision reviews with clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of supporting the full bid cycle and will be confident in strategically leading and advising bid teams. You will have experience of working closely with bid drivers, helping and supporting on the successful completion of proposals and meeting deadlines and of attending and contributing to kick-off/strategy meetings and proposition development, advising on messaging and content of proposal documents including design and production. The Pursuits & Proposals Manager will also be a self-motivated individual of graduate calibre or equivalent with previous experience of working in professional services or a partnership environment in a client facing role.
