Behaviour Mentor – North West London – 1:1 Position

Are you an experienced Behaviour mentor or perhaps a Teaching Assistant that has worked with challenging behaviour?

Maybe you are an exceptional graduate with the confidence to work in a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor post with a challenging student?

If so, this 1:1 Behaviour Mentor will see you working with a year 2 student with an EHCP for the rest of the Academic year!

***The Behaviour Mentor will be joining an Ofsted graded Outstanding school

This Outstanding school are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join them and working within a lovely year 2 class. The role will see you working 1:1 with a young boy who has an EHCP and demonstrates some challenging behaviour.

As a Mentor to the young man, you will begin to gain trust and understand what triggers his behaviour. You will be working with the SENCO, class teacher and parents to the student to help with his progress. The successful Behaviour Mentor will also be liaising with outside agencies to make sure that as much support is being given to the student.

The role requires a confident graduate that can empathise with students, building trust and understanding difficult situations. You will be supported with training and CPD in the post.

With the school being so supportive, the school is often oversubscribed. Having gained an Outstanding grading in their past inspection, the Behaviour Mentor will be joining a school that knows how to best support students in its care.
