***1:1 Teaching Assistant required for full-time role in Waltham Forest
***Experience supporting vulnerable children essential for this role
***1:1 Teaching Assistant required to work with Year 2 boy with global delay
***Must have a minimum of a 2:1 degree (Psychology preferred)
***Long-term, full-time role – no day-to-day or part-time openings for 1:1 Teaching Assistant roles

The 1:1 Teaching Assistant specification:

>

Minimum 2:1 degree with demonstrable theoretical knowledge of relevant position>
Experience in a similar role or working within vulnerable scenarios essential>
Highly resilient with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant

>

Work 1:1 with a year 2 boy in KS1 with global delay and other behavioural difficulties >
Create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment>
Prepare learning materials and assist in creating a stimulating environment>
Work with pupils with a range of complex disabilities, adjusting to their needs.>
Ensure the emotional and physical well-being of the child is protected
