Our Business Energy teams supply over 500,000 customer accounts, across broad and diverse client base. Our teams serve a range of clients from micro businesses to large national corporates, providing a unique service to each business with a commitment to keeping our client’s interests at heart and helping to control energy costs.
Due to our continued success and to support our future business strategy and growth we have an opportunity for a Business Energy New Connections Advisor to join our Electric Technical Team. Electric Technical provides support to Business Energy by ensuring the billing system is operating accurately, updating service provider and networks systems, and arranging new connections.

The role:

You’ll be dealing with internal and external customers and manage the new connection process from cradle to grave. You’ll liaise with network and meter operators and our energy consultants to deliver a smooth installation for our customers. It is essential you have an eye for detail as you’ll be responsible for setting up the billing system accurately when the connection has been completed.

About you:

You will be able to work on your own initiative, be inquisitive, decisive and able to see tasks through to completion. Ideally you will have a background within utilities, though training can be provided, your communication and decision making skills will be second to none.
For us it's not just about being good at what you do - it's about enjoying what you do, too. So we'll encourage and empower you to be imaginative, share your great ideas, and do work that you can be proud of. In return, you'll enjoy a variety of benefits and development opportunities.
On top of a competitive salary, you'll enjoy generous holiday entitlement, a Group Pension Plan, share options and discounts on energy bills, phone and broadband. If you resonate with the above, and would like to join our team, click the Apply button to submit your application; with a CV to hand, it takes no longer than 10 minutes. Good luck! Closing date for applications is: 23rd November 2018
As a courtesy, internal candidates should please notify their line manager prior to submitting their application.
Successful candidates will be subject to the Company's verification and vetting process. This includes a basic criminal record check.
