The Operations team are responsible for running our warehouses (which we call "Customer Fulfilment Centres" or "CFCs") where we take delivery, store, pick and dispatch over a million products a day to customers. The first part of this two year graduate development programme sees you immersed right into the heart of our operation, and rewards you with knowledge and experience of all CFC operations including: Inbound (product receipt, put-away and replenishment), Outbound (product picking, packing and dispatch to customers) and Operations Support (inventory control and issue management). The second part of the programme builds on everything you have learnt and will enhance your leadership skills further by putting you in the driving seat of the operation through working directly with our Flow and Operations Managers to ensure the CFC runs efficiently and effectively.
This graduate programme is like no other. From the start you will take accountability for a team of up to 30 operatives and the challenges that our pioneering and highly automated 1.2 million square foot CFCs throw at you. Towards the end of the two year development programme you will reach the level of skill where you will be taking on more and more responsibility within the CFC. It will challenge you! It is a tough environment, our operation is live 24 hours, 7 days a week, so you will need to be flexible to work shift patterns that would include both day and night shifts and weekends. To help you adapt to our graduate programme and business, this structured development programme combines practical and theoretical management skills. You will be supported throughout your placement with personal targets and development plans, and will receive the excellent Ocado Graduate training, complimented by highly specialist CFC training. We will support you through the programme towards a full management position with the expectation that you will progress through the organisation to more senior management or more specialised roles in double quick time.

- Be expecting, a 2:1 degree or above in any STEM discipline
- Some related work experience is an advantage, although this is not essential.
