In your role providing a high quality “shop floor” clinical presence as a Speciality Doctor, you’ll be vital in the transformation of Medway.
Working in co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues, as a Speciality Doctor you will provide high quality healthcare to the Trust’s patients. With at least 3 years experience in full time hospital service and full registration with the GMC, you will not only be committed to continuing your personal development, but will participate in the teaching, research and governance programmed within the Department.

We also run Medical Training Initiative (MTI) posts in Adult and Paediatric Emergency Medicine. CESR programmes including secondments in ICU, Anaesthetics and Paediatrics are also available. We have been able to apply sucessfully for exemption from IELTS following in-house English assessments. We have also supported our registrars to apply successfully for HEE Emergency Medicine training programmes if they wish to pursue the CCT route. We have developed Clinical Trust Fellow posts in Simulation and Medical Education in conjuction with local universities. With a department boasting the best GMC trainee survey in Kent Surrey and Sussex, we have proven our commitment to training and development.
