Independent Global Asset manager with offices in 20 counties focused on active open conviction investing, clients include pension plans, insurance companies, private banks, advisers and intermediates require a Finance Manager to have responsibility for delivering through their team all the financial reporting for the EMEA region. Reporting to the Finance Director EMEA key tasks include:
Manage, lead and develop a finance team consisting of qualified and part qualified accountants Meet the monthly, quarterly, annual reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders Prepare and validate all journal entries, produce and review balance sheet reconciliations Produce Board pack including management accounts together with commentaries on the variances s Prepare 12-month rolling forecasted Income statement, Cash flow Statement and capital position Oversight of Treasury function and liquidity reporting Production and submission of bi-monthly, quarterly and annual tax and regulatory returns Production of financial statements, audit schedules and tax computations Production of the firm's annual ICAAP reporting requirements, preparation of finance supplement of the ICAAP covering 5-yearly projected Income statement, Balance sheet, and statement of Capital position
The role will suit somebody aiming to become a Head of Finance in the future. It's a great stepping stone as the role is hands-on plus a combination ofreview and do.
Candidates applying for the Finance manager role must have the following experience: Degree qualified Graduate, qualified accountant ACA or ACCA or the international equivalent Experienced gained within Asset or Investment management company, ideally within a multi-currency environment Technically strong with knowledge of UK and Irish GAAP, sound financial reporting background Experience of leading and developing small finance teams Ideally advanced excel skills Some financial projects experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills
