And right now, we’re looking for a band 7 Children’s Community Nurse to join ourteambased in Harlow, Essexto help us continue to change things for the better.
You will lead, develop, co-ordinate and monitor the provision of our community based nursing service for children and young people with nursing needs & their families, liaising with external stakeholders & providers across primary and secondary care.You will work closely with our colleagues based in the Child Development Centre, Healthy Family Teams, local hospitals, GP's & commissioners.
The Children’s Community Nursing team has a great professional support network which includes regular interaction and team meetings that allows us to grow and develop. We like to be at the forefront of what we do, so we operate in a Total Mobile environment where every clinician has a lap top, meaning we’ve doneaway with paper so we’re fully electronic.You’ll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing bestpractice, and actively improving the way we work.
This is an opportunity to put your registered children's nursing qualificationto great use.You will be an RSCN/RN (child) with significant post registration experience. The preferred candidate will also be educated to degree or masters level & ideally hold the community children's specialist practice qualification or other community qualification. Previous experience of working in an A&E is also an advantage.
With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
