Psychology Graduate Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be a secure graduate who has previous experience working with children who have special educational needs and a second class degree at the very least. You will have an active interest in the after school societies and superb oral and written skills. You will have the skills to show a responsibility of care for your pupils and contribute to a heavy workload. The right applicant will have an inspiring personality and a desire to work closely within special educational needs.

About the Psychology Graduate Role
As a Psychology Graduate your role will involve you supporting the progress of a Year 2 boy who has a statement of ASD. The KS2 department is renowned for its HoDA HoD who can offer advice and aid to support your teaching. The Headteacher and SENCO are both caring teachers who will be more than happy to invest in your future through appropriate training and resources. With an opportunity to achieve a School Direct place for the following year, you should treat this placement as a chance to begin your career in a school that you are already comfortable in.

The School
This school is a well-managed primary found in Hillingdon and is accessible via West Drayton Station on South Western Rails. Your teaching will be enhanced thanks to access to some remarkable facilities, including large grounds. It was considered 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in a recent inspection and is skilled in developing trainee teachers. Having established key ties with the community, the school has benefitted from calm and respectful pupils and a constructive environment in which to offer a comprehensive education. The parents, governors and Senior Leadership Team here are all in agreement that the right way forward for the school is an open, inclusive partnership. The intake of pupils at this school with SEN requirements is higher than the national average, and their individual needs are met through dedicated support and personalised plans. The school has excellent links in the neighbourhood and has the reputation for being a central hub of the community.

Applicants are encouraged to send their CV as soon as convenient to avoid disappointment. This advanced primary school is expecting to appoint soon due to the level of interest in this Psychology Graduate position. Send your CV to Eoghan Caldwell at EduStaff today..
