Description

We are in search of a talented Professional Services Engineer to help continue our outstanding growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Gather and analyze information about a customer’s environment.
Architect software deployment in a customer’s environment including sizing and placement of hardware.
Perform the installation of the product via remote or on-site.
Advise customer about, or perform maintenance of software system.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
Development of documentation.
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance.
Prepare reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status as well as a customer facing Statement of Work.
Solving customers’ product related problems on clients’ systems remotely and on-site.
Provide other services such as training and software migrations to new hardware.
Internal training activities for company’s sales and support personnel.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
3+ years of related experience.
Basic knowledge in two or more of the following areas:
Microsoft environments (AD, Exchange, Windows servers, etc.)
Networking (TCP / IP, routing, firewalls)
Databases (MSSQL preferred)
Web servers and applications
Storage devices (NetApp, EMC)
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
