An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join the Clinical Team within the Posture and Mobility Service, ALAS. The post will be based out of the PMC in Trefforest, covering work within the South Wales community, which we serve. The role of the technician is to assist the Clinical Team in their assessment of an individual's clinical need and to visit users at home / schools to deliver, fit and adapt equipment.
It would be an advantage to have experience of working with wheelchairs, particularly with the fitting an adjustment of them. The successful candidate must be willing to undertake lone working and driving across the large geographical area we cover, for which ALAS vans are provided.
