Inventory & Purchasing Assistant - Bradford - £18,000

Working for a fantastic hair and beauty suppliers in Bradford, supporting in all inventory control related activities through executing inventory control measures to ensure the company minimises stock holding and maximises stock system accuracy.

Working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly. The role also requires an occasional flexibility of locations across the Company. MAIN TASKS

? To produce daily/weekly/monthly transfer and spike reports.

? Using Opera to create new product lines

? Maintain stock details such as supplier, pricing, barcodes.

? Control and maintain the damages / faulty log. Manage the Faults Log and preparation of requests for the Inventory and Purchasing Manager.

? Confirm with Branches and Warehouse regarding purchase orders which require chasing and contact suppliers accordingly. Chase orders in relation to delivery note maintenance.

? Alter supplier part numbers in Opera as requested. Liaise with suppliers to obtain necessary information to fully complete the entire stock file. Obtain supplier/product information for buyers.

? Provide support and assist with any Branch and Warehouse stock related issues. Carry out "gaps on shelf" investigation.

? Assist with investigating stock held at the warehouse needing further action.

? Investigate and pursue the correction of lines showing negative stocks on hand and run the negative stock report and follow up.

? To run checks on negative projected stock report.

? Raise purchase orders and ensure confirmation of receipt.

? Assist with the Company "Mailer" with price/product checking and deal listing.

? Make system stock adjustments in relation to supplier returns.

? Deal with special stock requests from Branches. KEY SKILLS (essential)

Knowledge of IT systems & process including OPERA
